Our secret is out! A contest was held by Gulfscape Magazine to find the BEST Gulf Coast Town and Surfside WON. We were in a tight race with Gulf Shores, Alabama and fans of Surfside far and wide let it be known of “our” little paradise.

Labor Day Fundraiser Success
What a great fundraiser SOBA had on Saturday, September 4th. Besides the great weather, we had a wonderful volunteer turonut and signed up new members! First and foremost, the fundraiser could not have been so successful without the great organizer, Ann Kelley.

Flu Shots
They are recommending (Combination Flu shots) this year. This is a Three-in-one shot consisting of H3N2/H1N1/and the Regular flu shot. We will receive 110 shots to distribute. On October 23rd, we will have them at the Surfside Beach Fire Station
(402 Murex) from 9:30 am – 12:00 (noon) or until we run out.
