During the summer and holidays, SOBA members keep our beautiful beach clean and safe!

 

We distribute free trash bags to our guests at the Main Entrance and all along the beach via golf cart. In fact, we have our own Facebook page called the "Surfside Trash Bag Project" that thanks all the volunteers that help!

We also help out the village staff by picking up trash on the beach. Sometimes we go out on our own and sometimes after major holidays, we hit the beach at specific times and work on assigned segments of the beach.

SOBA works in close association with the Parks and Wildlife Department during the State of Texas Adopt-A-Beach semi-annual beach clean-ups in April and September.
