Volunteer. Join us for Dunes Day every January when we stake down Christmas trees along the beach, help give out trash bags during the summer and holidays, or just go out and pick up trash! You can also volunteer for the Sea Turtle Patrol and working with the Turtle Island Restoration Network (TIRN). Volunteers help patrol our beaches and look for nesting sea turtles. Learn more here. Annual Membership Dues. You can help SOBA continue its good work — and have fun doing it! Membership dues are $15 annually per person or $25 annually per family. We distribute an e-mail newsletter each month to keep everyone, including our out-of-town members, informed of all present and future events.

Donate through Memorial Sea Oats. Rather than releasing balloons in the memory of your loved one, which litters the beach and can kill wildlife, please consider a more lasting memorial: planting sea oats. Sea oats are planted in the dunes by Save Our Beach Association (SOBA) in order to help strengthen and build the sand dunes on the beach. As the sea oats grow, they help to anchor the dunes and protect the beach from high tides, surges and storms. You can donate $25 for each bundle of five sea oats.
Shop at "Treasures by the Sea." SOBA will hosts its annual "Treasures by the Sea" market days on Saturday, November 11, 2023. This event will showcase forty to fifty crafts, food, and art vendors from around the state! This is SOBA’s biggest yearly fundraiser and all proceeds go toward SOBA activities.
