Action

The Surfside Beach Police Force and Emergency Medical Services staff are excellent in their jobs of keeping our guests safe and healthy! However, their main challenge is finding the guests who are in distress somewhere in the four miles of beach.

That's why SOBA purchased materials, assembled, painted, and installed "surf board" markers along the entire length of the beach. The "A" through "Z" markers help identify the locations where guests are located.
